I am not sure if this review will reach the author which is really my intention. After emigrating to Australia from France 34 years ago, my life has felt what I can only describe as displacement. I was so thrilled to read her words and identify with feelings no one ever talks about. Homesickness, loss of identity, language.
I just wish I could communicate with her.
