I bought this book years ago, have no idea why.. I’m a spiritualist but the cover didn’t really give anything away.
However my 16 month old granddaughter pulled it off the bookshelf today and handed it to me.
I took this as a sign to read it and I’m so glad I did. It resonates so well with everything I’m learning about now at 52 years old.
I won’t give anything away but o cannot recommend this enough. 🙏

Yes it’s cheesy but it’s a feel good film and as a massive Billy Connolly fan, I have to say he’s basically just himself. Albeit with an Irish accent.
The child actors were great too.
It’s just a sentimental and uplifting film.

I gave it two stars and they go to Melissa McCarthy.. the plot has no depth and the script wasn’t good at all.
I literally only kept it in because of Melissa, she did salvage some comedy value. It’s okay to have on whilst you’re doing something productive, like wrapping presents.
Soundtrack isn’t bad, the film just never really gets there.. 😏

I must say I watched it all in one day.
It was full of twists, just when you think you know… you don’t. I think that all of the characters were well acted. Likeable and loathsome in the right places.
Only downside, for me, was that with technology today… I don’t feel the ghosts should look quite so solid and have shadows..
I recommend it ⭐️

Maybe I’m just old but this was awful, the acting was terrible and the story was so predictable I didn’t really need to watch to the end and if I was alone I wouldn’t have.
Although I’d love to know where they buy their make-up . Super staying power in such circumstances…

Absolutely mesmerising series, you really need to watch with no distractions because it moves and changes pace as much as the leading character’s reality.
Massive twists and edge of the seat moments.
Very satisfactory ending too , so if you’re on the first few episodes and wondering whether to continue, do persevere it’s worth it.
Fantastic writing, acting and directing.
Definitely recommend ⭐️

I persevered for what seemed like a couple of hours or so but the cutsie pool scene with the 50’s happy family show music….
Then the changing room,
The squeaky girlie voices the corny lines and the acting oh and what’s with the smoking cigars?
I just can’t find one positive, sorry 👎
