I don't normally write reviews for tv shows however, The Consultant was purely addictive Millennial goodness! I have not gotten into a recent show in quite some time. All actors in this ensemble keep the creepy enticing tensions up and keeps the audience guessing from Brittany O'Grady, Nat Wolff, and Christoph Waltz. They work off each other effortlessly and play their roles perfectly I think. Christoph in any movie he does keeps the audience wanting to know what he will do next, one of the greatest German-Austrian actors I think of our generation, the new Maximilian Schell. Now placed in a series-just awesome and engrossing. Go watch this series now if you need something interesting, unique, and darker. Very much along the lines of Black Mirror + Blumhouse.

Darkness, poetry, the supernatural, classic literature, period piece, and the human condition wrapped into one series. Truly beautiful, heart wrenching moments and superb dialogue. I couldn't get enough, I have rewatched the Penny Dreadful series twice and I will probably again in the future. Do yourself a favor and watch it!
