Fantastic film with surreal images and themes. Jenny Agutter is stunning and acted beautifully as a wronged child looking out for her innocent little brother. Two English schoolchildren lost in the harsh Australian outback. Almost stealing the show is the late great David Gillpin in his first role as the native Australian. Brilliant imagery throughout the film . A must see film .

Cinematic masterpiece on a par with anything before or since. The greatest film involving sport ever made although I would not describe it as just a sport film. Fantastic supporting role by Joe Pesci before he was the powerhouse he became. Martin Scorsese direction is peerless and the black and white cinematography is timeless. De Niro puts in one of the all time great performances in the beginning plays a rock hard middleweight boxer who sparred with Jack la Motta to perfect the role. Put on 70 pounds to play the has been entertainer. A story of bitterness and survival in a harsh world. Should be on every film fans watch list.

Daisy May Cooper is the undisputed star of the British small screen and does not disappoint this time. Rain Dogs is a gritty sometimes comedic view of a woman who keeps trying but keeps failing. For all her wit, wisdom and talent life always has the last laugh. A useless sometimes abusive best friend in a love/hate relationship which is no good for either. Ade Edmondson will surprise you with how good he can act and Karl Pilkinson puts in a great cameo . A gem

Film could have been called Pacino v De Niro as the two produce a masterclass of acting from start to finish. They face off against each other over a coffee which is a delight for fans of either acting legend. Great ensemble supporting cast especially Val Kilmer and Jon Voight. A young Natalie Portman puts in a great turn too. I would just give top billing to De Niro . Fantastic fast paced crime drama with not a second wasted. Contains what has been voted the greatest get away, shoot em up scene in the history of cinema . The ending is fantastic as you are not sure who to support as the lines between good and bad are blurred. A film for the ages which I will surely watch again and again.

Enjoyable watch but not great. Nothing like a Guy Ritchie film. Has he tried to move to the US market. Jason Statham is good but nothing to work with. Harness and Scott Eastwood are terribly under used . The great Eddie Marsden is limited to a cameo, Why?. Really unbelievable get away and a dull ending. Worth a watch but no re-watch for me

When I heard a description of this film l thought it would be a disaster but I was pleasantly surprised. Action packed romp with plenty of comedic moments. Two hours should be too long but it flew by. Very good entertaining film.

Clint Eastwood is as cool as Newman and McQueen rolled together but Jeff Bridges steals the show as a wisecracking cheeky kid on the run from society. George Kennedy makes a nasty supporting villain. Great comedy/heist drama that is as sharp now as it was 50 years ago . Brilliant ultra cool , fantastic dialogue and score. Unmissable

Jason Statham is brilliant as usual as a hard as teak Bond style super agent. The next James Bond ? Probably not but he'd be brilliant. Hugh Grant gets better and better with every movie he makes in a slightly camp but still menacing super villain. Great looking film with fantastic scenery and dialogue. Guy Richie does what he does best and gives the viewers what they what. High paced high end entertainment from start to finish without a word or scene wasted. Fantastic

Brilliant storytelling, acting and direction. Three series of sublime television as good as anything in the world at the moment. Stella cast giving career best performances especially the peerless Sarah Lancashire and hopefully the soon to be James Bond, James Norton. Keeps you guessing and on the edge of your seat till the last moments. Shame it left itself too much to do in last episode with an almost abandoned storyline with the teacher and his murdered wife . Also a baffling comedy outlet with the UFO enforcement officer which didn't work for me and wasn't really needed. Brilliant conclusion to the Tommy Lea and Catherine saga though was a fitting and perfect ending to a great series.

Five star tribute to the King, his rise and heartbreaking downfall. Like many successful people before him was dragged down and let down by a sea of hangers on and financial vampires. The Memphis Mafia, The hideous self appointed Colonel Tom Parker and even his own father knew they were nothing without him. The worst managed super star in history from his sell out Christmas album to his conveyor belt movie career before being literally worked to death in Vegas . Like Marilyn and Garland before him fed a mountain of prescribed drugs. Butler is brilliant in bring the charisma of the King to the screen and at times uncannily captures his persona without it being an impersonation. Tom Hanks plays his goulish manager brilliantly and both should be at least nominated for an Oscar.
