B Miracle

I can't say anything that hasn't already been said, so I'll merely summarize my experience with DARLING In The FRANXX: Season One. I would like to think myself thick-skinned and stoic, but this show, simple and somewhat flawed as it is, is one of the few anime/animated series to make me laugh, cry, and sit on the edge of my seat. EVER. The out-of-left-field ending made me cry in disbelief that the season was already over; the humor throughout has made me crack up again and again; the drama has had me on edge and wondering how everything was going to work out; above all else, however, the characters and their individual stories have made me wish to see their faces once more and how they've fared. In short, this season has been, quite possibly, one of the best shows I have EVER watched. No hyperbole, no exaggerating, no embellishment: I will always remember this as my first amazing anime experience. If this is how the genre has been evolving, then I can't wait to see what the future, ever changing and flowing like a river, has in store for you and I. My Rating: Perfect, 10/10.
