This movie is just bad. It is a Grudge upon itself. The editing is choppy, and the nonlinear story makes a horrible treatment of the story even worse. It’s mostly a bunch of people tiptoeing around in the dark, using jump-scares with the same b-movie actors who keep playing the same type of roles over and over. If this an attempt to breath new life into this franchise, it succeeds even less than Men in Black: International. It was about as annoying as the guy next to me who would not stop playing with his bag of Cheetos throughout the film, which may have been about the only thing that kept me awake. Every seat was filled for this showing, and I did not hear even one audience reaction.
