I absolutely love the Descendants movies, and have watched them over and over again as a grown adult. I wasn't too hopeful that there would be another movie after the unfortunate loss of Cameron Boyce. Even after I found out they were making another movie I was on the fence on if I should watch it or not. Carlos was a main character that I grew to love and added a lot to the movies. I had decided to give this movie a shot since I adore the first three movies. However, it was a complete let down. Not only were the graphics horrible, but the story line was rushed to get it into 22 minutes. In addition, the way they just brushed over Carlos' absence is a disservice to the death of Cameron Boyce and made it unnecessary for it to be an animated film. They could have just as easily done the same sloppy tribute to his absence in a live action film. Then the movie could have been longer, have more musical numbers, showcased the beautiful fashion, and have a better story line. At this point I'm going to pretend that I never watched this, and that it was never created.
