Bad writing = Bad Show / Movie. Regardless if it's canon or not, the show really exposes how the directors and writing team are incompetent.

WB and DC messed up by trying to rush to compete with Marvel and it’s glory. Now with the Zack Snyder’s rendition of Justice League, it really shows how disparate they were at competing with Marvel. The movie is 4 hrs long and only expands on characters who should of all had their own origin story / solo movies. Yes Superman and Wonder Woman have their own, but Batman, Flash, Martian Manhunter should of received their own as well. The build up would of had the hype amplified. Instead of a shared connected cinematic universe, we get unconnected Else-world stories that don’t impact each other unless you buy into there “ Crisis on Infinite Earths “ / “ Multiverse “ pitch. Hardcore fans won’t mind this concept, but the main audience, the casual movie goer is going to walk in this garbage patch league of a mess and question why there are 2 Justice League movies, who are these new characters, what does any of this new stuff have to add to the main plot in the first rendition of the Justice League movie... Right just 3 hours of extra cgi fights and jUsTiCe for Ray Fisher, a one hit stale actor who’s acting career tanked before being handed the Justice League script. All in all, DC can’t stand toe to toe with Marvel and WB can’t compete with Disney. At this point WB and DC should let Disney buy them out and fix the DC Universe well its still salvageable. Best hurry before they ruin a classic character such as Superman and cast a black actor.
