Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! Seeing Dennis Quaid in it I thought it had to be good. Loved him in Frequency! The screenwriting and directing in this movie, however, were really bad. If you have a peanut allergy, wouldn't you check the ingredients before eating?? The kids on bikes...what was the purpose of them?? The mom was too happy in a traumatic situation. "What can I do?" "You can put your parachute on and jump!" Experienced pilot helper in the garage building a makeshift simulator out of tools?? Really? In the middle of a storm and then, boom!, the storm is gone! Right. I've taken basic acting classes and the screenwriting was basically unnecessary, explaining what we could have gotten without it. I was laughing at how ridiculous it was and felt the directing was like someone from Junior High. The religious scenes were over the top. I felt like I was watching Hallmark Channel or another faith-based TV movie network. Don't waste your time.
