My honest feel was, as most them mentioned this is to appeal to a western audience hence i felt at many places that this is a wana be narcos or breaking bad. The characters which has been played by India's finest actors lack life. Nawazudin and Radhika apte were shadowed under cliche, the score especially the 'title' somehow reminded me of G.O.T i don't know why it just kept ringing in my mind that I have heard it somewhere. There are glimpses of excellence of both the directors that we adore, but sadly they didn't rise to the standards that I thought they have and should have delivered. This series for me is all style n no substance. I rate this 2.5 out 5 stars just for the production value.

Mediocrity at every level with an overwhelming budget. Direction is so below average that every event is so dull. Very few moments stand out. Hollow character with shallow character arc. Writing deals with everything with exposition, nothing feels organic. Writer just thought of an event and just made up things without logic to connect it. Throwing Spanish into the mix to make it feel Narcos is so lazy and unoriginal. Editing doesn't excit you as it doesn't enhance the story a bit. cinematography is so thrashy that it is believed to build tension if you keep the frame at unrest. It so sad that people still falls for that. Acting again is so substandard and main reason might be the direction. Lead character is so bland and forced. I read reviews claiming to have kept them on edge of the seats, but all I felt was if a potential scene was building up it was very soon derailed with mediocrity
