Awful stereotypes and cliché script. It is a case of "let's get on the drag queen bandwagon". There is humour but in wrong way. I do admire actors who get involved this amateur hour abd survive.

Mediocre script and predictable sexism, ie misandrist. It would tragic if it wasn't so funny.

An appalling adaption of Ck Skelton's novels. Another TV show that is pointed at the lowest common denominator. Pushing the stereotypical "strong woman" and trying to make the story "relatable" to a modern audience because they couldn't possibly deal with the reality of 19th century life.

All very clever but deeply flawed. Would a woman stabbing a man with scissors really be able to kill him ? The penalty for murder was hanging which in these circumstances would be a big deterrent to killing someone. Why didn't Swann just kill Wendice once he tried to have blackmail him, rather than go through all that palaver to kill his wife ? Of course her ex lover would want to save Mrs Wendice but really would he have concocted the story to save her ?

A boring cliche ridden drama. Where are the original scriptwriters. And another female detective. Poorly written make parts.

So what was that all about ? A rather creepy cliche ridden film. Of course everyone born before the year 2000 was homophobic and constantly smoked !!! Or that is what the writer wants to believe. Why do peoplein these always seem to walk in slow motion ? One day someone will write an adult story of two men having a sexual relationship without all the stereotypical baggage.

This is an incredible portrayal of the fall of Berlin and the death of Hitler. It is horrifying to see the terrible mindset of Hitler and rhe Goebbels. I however take exception to seeing Trudi Junge as heroine asking for forgiveness. These women supported the Nazi and were indifferent to the fate of the Jews. Their attitude would be different if Hitler had won the war. Hypocrisy at its best.

A great production of a great novel. Yes some it will see it as boring but there you go. Vanessa Redgrave was brilliant. All those old actors. Vets enjoyable.

These two television adaptions are amusing and well acted versions of the Mapp and Lucia books. The original problem is that it is difficult to understand why Mapp is renting her house when she moves up the road. Of course the enables the the two women to enter into a social competitive war. The other problem is that the TV adaptions can be little mannered and funny for the wrong reasons.

Funny at times but the Zipser character was ridiculous especially with the condoms. This silly childish story distracts from the real theme which is academic snobbery and the inability for these colleges to change.
