Seeking a Friend for the End of the World

...I don’t believe the main characters would fall in love. No chemistry. The film isn’t funny or charming, and is quite shallow. I felt nothing for the characters at the end of the film. It is in no way believable that Penny was ‘the love of [Dodge’s] life’. No. Way. The film lacked any real depth. And PLEASE can we stop using the Manic Pixie Dream Girl trope?! It diminishes a female lead to merely a fantasy figure for the male. Yuk.
