I'll be honest, I went in expecting your typical low budget gag movie rip off that everybody says is great just to make more people see it- even with Nick's face on the cover. I did NOT expect this movie to slap as hard as it did. Browsing the movie choices on Hulu with my husband and stumbling across this gem was the highlight of my day and made my night. Yes it's a low budget movie and yes in some aspects it shows, there will be parts where you're just laughing because of how awkward the angles are or something but I unironically enjoyed this movie. The Silent Man from Out of Town was not a take I expected but it worked EXTREMELY well for the movie, and the addition of characters who fill in the blanks doesn't always feel entirely forced. Yeah there were some parts that had us itching the top of our heads until the movie lore unloaded later in the movie. This is a GREAT movie to watch with some pals while drinking or smoking.
