The 4 and 5 star reviews on this game where the people are thinking the 1 star reviews are just haters, you need to have some perspective. Some of us have played Madden for 25+ years and we know how it stacks up. Some of us demand better for that $70 tag. Madden 24 might be fun for someone who has never heard of the NFL and just stumbled into Mom's credit card and bought the game to try out for the first time. For those of us who are NFL fans and have experienced other NFL games from 20 years ago, we know what a good, deep, solid effort of an NFL simulation football game should look like. Madden isn't it. EA should be ashamed of their efforts over the last 10 or more years. This is getting ridiculous and anyone who continues to support this franchise shares in the blame. EA does not develop Madden like a developer who has a multi billion dollar franchise on it's hands. They need to give up the NFL and ESPN license if they're only going to hold it hostage and do nothing with it. Update the announcers and the phrases, get rid of animation based gameplay that never seems to play out correctly or in a realistic way. I'm tired of going to tackle an opponent and then suddenly being sucked 5 yards away from the play to be drawn into a block animation that the AI in the game decided to load. This game sucks just like most Madden games. EA doesn't care, because casuals will continue to fork over the money year after year without demanding a better experience for their hard earned money. I guess if you don't work hard for your money, you're okay with blowing it on such trash as this.
