Every touch of this gem, from the New Yorker Regular font and elegant art opening credits is a pleasure to see and listen to. The cameos: Nathan Lane and Sting, just a little icing on this perfectly cast cake. Everybody over a certain age knows the genius of pairing Martin/Short (remember that college standup tour in the 70s and a ton of their buddy movies since? Three Amigos?!!) Add to that the grace of a perfectly cast Selena Gomez, great writing, art and New York apartment porn (please don’t let Short lose that condo; I want to continue to drool over it) and this is an unstoppable watch. Yum. All of it.
