Love how they brought in the Peranakan culture to the show, also how they had small bits of Malay songs here and there. Absolutely loved the chinese tea sets and the Baba Nyonya clothings worn throughout the show. I wouldnt say it lived up to the book, but being a Malaccan, the show does not dissapoint. A Malaysian delight not to be missed.
