As most others have said - absolutely misrepresented twodle. I have grown to have to accept the woke box ticking to appease the minority but we seem to have entered into duplicate box ticking with cherries on top at the expense of our forefathers heroic efforts.

James Mcavoy saves this film from a 2/3 star rating. Without him it would have been OK but he really does lift it up to be something better.

Being retired and with a cineworld card I see a lot of films - and I mean a lot. This film is stunning in every respect in my opinion. I respect that some folk find personal conflict with it but for me it was well balanced and did the story, of which I have read, justice.

I’m guilty, like a lot of folk, of sitting down of an evening and glancing up occasionally at the film on the screen from my i-pad. Not this film, after ten minutes the I-pad went away and I was transfixed to the film. Absolutely brilliant, by far the best film I have watched for some considerable time.

This film really is dull. Nothing happens for the first hour…literally nothing. I lost count of the number of times I looked at my watch although I can tell you in screen 6 cineworld Cheltenham how many ceiling lights there are, number of stairs, how many seats, who went to the loo (other than the chap in shorts-he never came back) and contrary to what my wife may tell you I was resting my eyes! On to the last 40 minutes which is so predictable it’s painful to watch. To think I had some paint to watch dry at home makes it more frustrating.

Being retired and with a cineworld card I go at least twice a week to see all sorts of films. As usual I checked out the reviews and was dismayed to see this film panned by both critics and public alike. I nearly never went but I am so glad I made the choice to go……this film is brilliant. I completely understand, and respect, that everyone has their own opinions but for me this film hit the spot. My only advice is watch it with an open mind, try to put the original to one side for a couple of hours and moreover make your own mind up.

I watch a lot of films being retired with a cinema card. At the moment there isn’t a lot on as it’s school holiday so it’s fair to say normally I wouldn’t perhaps have gone to this and after going I can see staying away might have been a wise move. I cannot remember a film this bad for a long long time. I won’t repeat what others have said other than to recommend giving it a miss.

I’m not going to waste anyone’s time with what has already been written other to say absolutely stunning, don’t miss it.

I rather enjoyed this, can’t see it winning any awards but none the less very watchable and entertaining.

When I looked at the cast and storyline I had high hopes for this film……it started bad and got worse as it went along……dreadful.
