It was all good when they had grrm's books to follow but when in later seasons (especially the last) dumb & dumber had to write the show themselves - and didn't get a single female writer for season 8 - they truly showed themselves to be absolutely talentless hack writers, focusing always on meaningless shock value, instead of actual character development. The show's misogyny and racism are the most evident in season 8.
