My all-time favorite romantic film. I could rewatch this over and over again. The acting were so on point. The cinematography, astounding. The dialogues, captivating. The way they captured every scene to highlight subtle gestures that meant so much was truly remarkable. One of the best period films out there! And it is certainly better than the 1995 tv series adaptation. Colin Firth’s Mr. Darcy was no match to Matthew Macfadyen’s. Period.

Mackenzie Davis sets herself so far apart from the other casts in this film. She was the only one worth watching. The others were ok, except for the damsel in distress. Her character was unlikeable, and her big speeches had my eyes rolling. I have nothing against the actress, but she doesn't fit her role. Such poor dialogue and bad casting for this character.

Idk why this is rating so low. It's a good action film, and it's so much more. Lessons about technology vs humanity, mending family relationships, and setting aside differences for a common cause are just some of the important highlights. The humor isn't bad too. Wish everybody could just stop being so critical. It's an enjoyable film.

I haven't enjoyed an f/f film cinematographically like this since Carol. Both are a true must-watch!

The only movie in the Fallen Series worth rewatching.

Idk why people are calling this movie good. If I were to rate it solely for the action scenes with complete disregard for intelligent tactics/calls I expected from the characters, then yes, this is a good action movie. However, I can't miss the number of stupid decisions made by some of the characters. And hey, we all know this is just a movie, right? Does that mean we should throw all sense of realism under the bus? No. . . . SPOILER ALERT . . . Here are SOME of those stupid decisions and super unrealistic scenes. They're quite laughable, really: - The WH is under attack, yet it took freakin' long for the army to respond. Kang commented about it and even he finds it ridiculous! - Mike put Connor in an air vent to let the kid out to safety through it. Surely Mike's not dumb enough to not put back the cover so the bad guys won't think of checking out that vent, right? Haha guess again ;) - Oh, there's this thing called Cerberus that could self-destruct and bring nuclear hell to the USA and kill millions of Americans? Why don't we (three people who know one code each, needed to activate this weapon) just give all three codes to this terrorist, because God forbid he kills us or the president! None of these characters thought, "Oh. Will they really kill me? If they do, they won't get the code that only 'I' know about." 2/5 stars

This has got to be the most overrated Kdrama I've watched. I've seen 10 out of 16 episodes now, and I'm having second thoughts about continuing to watch it. Here are my complaints: - the plot is overly plain - there's absolutely no mystery about who everyone was in their past life - Kim Shin and Eun-tak have zero chemistry - the age gap is uncomfortable - I usually find Korean quirks cute, but those in here were just totally corny As one of the most expensive Kdramas ever made, this was a flop for me. The only saving graces are its OST and the beautiful settings where they filmed. If you're looking for better Kdramas, check out "You Who Came from the Stars" or "My Princess" instead. -------------------- UPDATE: So I decided to finish the series. While it did get better in the second half (I think it was from episode 12) and made me cry a few times, the ending was just so-so. Bumped this up from 1 star to 3.

A film created by horny teenagers. I get what it tried to do, but the execution was so poor that it failed to deliver. Even the acting was no help.
