This show was so great. It would be perfect under Tim Burton's direction with Jenna as the lead of it wasn't for the forced feminist narrative they squeeze in several times. I mean come one Wednesday Adam's is morbid, obsessed with death and all things related but she's somehow a feminist "fighting the patriarchy". It didn't fit. At all. I dislike movies that force that cultish agenda into its characters. Besides the few times that happened (a character trys complimenting her dress she's wearing to a dance, only for her to start that psycho-babble about the "male gaze") the rest of the show is great. Jenna really embodies Wednesday.

Issa no for me dawg. Take Kill Bill and John Wick mix em together and drain out everything that made both great (including emotion, good acting, and chemistry). The dialog was cardboard, some over the top. Most of the "lol" moments didn't land for me at all. Also, someone got heavyhanded with the slo-mo effects. It's not complete trash, just hugely corny and wayyyyyy overcooked. Some of the fight choreography looks dreadful. I think in the hands of a different producer & director this would have been way better. Basically, the movie is like the title, a bad taste due to mixing things that don't go together. IE-amazing actresses + cardboard dialog a stoic lead character (who makes the worst decisions). I turned it off midway and watched it later when I could tolerate it without the expectations of a well done movie. If you haven't seen it or the trailer, skip the trailer and just watch it. The trailer is cut to make it seem way better.

This is by far the most annoying show I've seen. The first episode had my attention. But when they censored the woman's nipples but proceeded to show so many male genitals, I was annoyed. The dialog (constant pausing and rehashing issues) is annoying. The plot and subplot are too muddled to follow smoothly. It feels like taking an hour to walk several miles when driving is a quicker option.

I really dig this show. I know a lot of cotton candy people don't understand the world these men live in but it's a real one. In real life sex is explicit (grow up), some older single mothers cuss like sailors and sleep around....where do you think the term cougar came from? I love the dynamic between the bruhs. Hate all the pauses Tyler's shows have in their dialog. Honestly Meet the Browns and these are my favorite two TP sitcoms. I didn't care for the stupidy and arrogance the Dr has towards the girl that's harassing him. Nor the outcome of that episode. I dislike the length or lack thereof of each episode. I hope TP will show multiple sides to these issues these guys are dealing with.

I thought i wouldn't like this reboot. I was wrong. The AI approach to Buddi/Chucky was refreshing. This movie felt like a dark twisted version of many Amblin films from my childhood (ET, Goonies, Grimlins, etc.,). When I first saw pictures of Chucky's new look I didn't care for it. However, it makes him a more disturbing looking character. Overall I enjoyed Child's Play 2019. Fyi, to compare the two films is strange. This has similar elements but takes a strong (welcomed) deviation from the original. That decision makes this a very decisive movie. 7.5/10
