Maplestory is historically a great game to play. I have played it since it came out first, and I loved it back then. But after awhile, the game became pay to win style, which is fine I guess so they can make money, but if they make it so much of a pay to win style, they should maintain the servers better and the game better. The game's maintenance is awfully horrible. EVERY single day I struggle to find new issues, their QA Testers are probably sitting around on their desks doing nothing and testing the most basic stuff instead of getting into the details to find real errors. Worst part is that Maplestory literally relies on the players to find the errors and every single time there's multiple issues found, which is literally every single day, they do an update that is several hours. There are no other games that has this many issues for more than a decade of existence, All blizzards games, Epic games, you name a game company, they will have issues in the beginning but after about a year~ 2 years, most of the issues will be resolved. Maplestory's issues never get resolved because their programmers are probably fake programmers without a degree. And as I am writing this review, they have updated their launcher again and is not working. I will tell you what though, KMS is far superior to the development of GMS, I have lived in Korea and played in Korea before, it sucks that I cannot access KMS unless I VPN in. Their maintenance of the server is far far superior, because they have real testers and developers. DO NOT START THIS GAME, THE GAME CONTENT IS GREAT, YOU WILL GET ADDICTED, BUT YOU WILL STRUGGLE EVERY DAY WITH ISSUES AND MORE ISSUES. I would LOVE this game if there wasn't so many issues every day I play.
