I gave this a second chance and I’m glad I did, it makes me smile and I can’t wait for the next episode. A slightly romanticised and nostalgic look at the 1950s and living as part of a Jewish community in New York. Midge is a fabulous protagonist, speaking out through comedy and challenging the status quo for women, daughters, wives and mothers everywhere.
