This was a strange watch. You sort of expect it to be bad but I actually ended up enjoying it. The main characters are kind of like porn actor level bad. Then suddenly Doug Judy (Brooklyn 99)/ Darryl (the Office) and Charles Boyle (Brooklyn 99) are in it as the sheriff and a cop and you're like "wait did I sit on the remote?" And then some jokes were actually funny. I would say this is one of those- how bad and surprising it was made it funny- movies. As such, I can only recommend it.

Loved this movie. Lots of people in this review section seem to have missed its message. As a marine biology master student, I am currently faced with long travel, away from home and all I know. The adventure and expeditions come at a cost to your partner and family. As a woman who wants to make a career in science and who loves to travel I recognized her struggles very well. I often think about wether I would ever want children considering the sacrifices it would require me (and hypothetically them) to make. Women face far more scrutiny in this aspect and this movie showed that in a subtle, not over the top manner. Even in other fields than science and space travel this is often the case. As such I recommend this movie to anyone, man or woman so that they may recognize these struggles and so that we as a society can improve on our inclusion in the workforce and make it more inclusive to women and single parents.

People who rate this movie a low score clearly missed the point. The point is not to get answers. "What do people do when they can't get the answers easily?" is actually the point. It is meant to showcase the thin layer of ice our 'world peace' depends on and just how easily this ice can be broken with all the tension in the world right now (and especially in the US). It also shows just how dependent we have become on technology and how that could easily become our downfall. Not only literally in the tesla's malfunctioning and the gps and phonelines being knocked out but also in the way it isolates us and divides society. I actually feel that the justifying ending to this movie for me is people's reactions. Think about it, there is no blood, guts, 'America is the greatest' tanks and warfare- action going on. It really is as simple as a cyberattack nowadays to inflict a lot of damage because of the way society is and many people all over the world underestimate this. Furthermore, even in world war II the strongest weapons were fear and hate. Not being able to trust your own neighbors. Isn't that the sad part? If an enemy attacked, the first ones we would distrust are our neighbors. The way we all knew in our bones how going to Danny for help would play out before they even arrive there. I truly hope that the essence of this movie doesn't go unseen.

Just finally got around to watching this movie! Heard so many bad things about it and let me tell you, I DON'T KNOW WHY!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! A true telling of a fairy tale clearly as people seem to still not appreciate this celebration of diversity and joy in the age we are living in. It was a really refreshing take on the traditional story, incorporating feminism, equality and breaking free of the norm. Truly a work of art and cannot have been easy to do with a fairytale that is filled with stereotypes and traditional role models. WOW. Truly the 'princess' movie I wish I could have seen as a child. Even so, it definitely inspired me as an adult. Go watch this movie!!

I don't know why this movie scored so poorly across review sites such as rotten tomatoes! After watching the Valet, which I loved, I really wanted to see another Eugenio Derbez movie and this one did not disappoint! Yet again he plays a very heartwarming character and his character Leo goes through a lot of character development. The movie is not as predictable as most romcoms are nowadays and I truly love the mixture of Spanish and English without it being too much. If you are having a movienight with yhe family I would definitely recommend this movie, it is truly better than most nowadays!

I don't understand why the ratings are so good for this sequel!! Oh my gosh, the first movie was wonderful and had such a good story, the best I've seen in a while! Then here comes the second, with a plot so far fetched nobody can relate to, a straight up weird storyline and a very unsatisfying ending. This movie was much like most nowadays, you clearly don't have to write a good believable story anymore to entertain people nowadays, with true character motives, plottwists and hints along the way. This movie was the exact opposite of what the first was and I cannot believe the ratings it gets. Watch the first one. Skip this trash. Where it was first implied that there would be many layers to this movie at the start, the stupidity of the plot is really clearly visible pretty much from the get go.

Hmmm, I was really excited to watch this movie and I, like many, watched Enchanted as a child in theatres back in the day. I really liked the idea they had for this movie. The stepmother plot had a lot of potential. However, I felt they could have executed it slightly better. A little more bonding and character arch for Tyson and Morgan would have also helped. In the first movie they actually executed Nancy's romance with Edward well even though she wasn't the main character. They could have done the same for Morgan and Tyson, missed opportunity. I also felt they could have made Giselle even more of a villain, but the whole thing was over rather quickly. The 'love power' song also felt a slight bit out of tune as I felt the lyrics were a bit weirdly timed (I don't know how to explain it properly). If they had upped their CGI game and released this into theatres it would have also hit better I think. It would have been more magical. Nevertheless, for a sequel (and live action) it did a better job than most Disney movies do nowadays and I enjoyed watching it, but I especially enjoyed rewatching Enchanted with my boyfriend beforehand who had never even seen that one before. Unfortunately he was struck by a sleeping spell on the couch halfway through this one though.

If only all soccer fans would take the time to watch this docu. I have personally always known that soccer was about everything but the game, behind the scenes. Supposedly it is a unifying sport "for everybody" regardless of background or culture or sexual oriëntation. But somehow nobody ever cheered as hard for the women's team, in fact I did not know women's soccer existed until I was well into my teens. To this day there are huge pay differences between the women's team and the men's. Then there is the racism, the monkey noises made at players of color (especially here in the Netherlands) and the difficulties many fans and players have with lgbtiaq+ rights. And now we also have so many workers who died building the stadiums. What more evidence do you need that soccer is not as innocent and uniting as they wish to make us believe? That it is all a corrupt play with some very powerful men at the top? It's absolutely baffeling to me that none of the top even bothered to call and ask how players would play in the heat, let alone how the workers would build a stadium. It just goes to show how little they care about the game. This documentary has once again made me sure to continue boycotting soccer events and television, like I already have for years. If you enjoy soccer, don't turn a blind eye to it's dark secrets.

What. The. Frick. Was. That. It SUUUUCKED. Honestly like -10 story. I notice it in more movies nowadays. There just isn't a story. Just a ridiculously overpriced cast list and a lot of CGI. THAT DOESN'T MAKE A MOVIE. They can't decide what their story is, halfway through they just go "oh hey let's just swap everything, for no reason at all other than the viewers might enjoy that". There was no clear goal on evil's side other than 'being evil' and killing everyone for some reason. And then you realize 'Good' isn't even any better, just filled with vain people. If you want to watch a good movie, watch Enola Holmes 2 or Shrek, not this rubbish.

Where to begin... At first I thought Black Adam was Marvel, which is why I went to this movie, only to find out there that it is DC. My expectations dropped by a lot but they still couldn't be met. (Spoiler alert) To start, they just won't drop their cringe team names. We had Justice League, Suicide Squad and now we're introduced to the Justice Society 🤦🏻‍♀️ If you ask me, dropping these cringe names would actually be Justice. The characters were like someone asked "Guys, can we have Marvel?" and DC said "We have Marvel at home". That would describe this team perfectly. We got Atom Smasher, who was essentially knock-off antman, growing pretty much to his exact size when he enlarged and attempting to be witty and funny. Doctor Fate who was pretty much Doctor Strange, literally conjuring up mirror dimensions amongst other things. Then we have Cyclone, the cybersmart girl of color, totally not inspired by Shuri ofcourse 🙄 performing surgury with nanobots. Hmm where have I seen something similar? 🤔 And then Hawkman. Where to start. He was like a crossing of Black Panther, the Falcon and Hawkeye but in a cheap way, flying a way too tricked out and weirdly shaped spaceship. Even just looking at his helmet though, I couldn't contain my laugh thinking are there actually little kids who'd want to have a poster of this guy, suited up, on their wall. Then ofcourse we had to have some sort of super element like *cough* vibra- my bad: eternium, which didn't turn out to be nearly as import as was insinuated in the beginning of the movie. And finally we are introduced to Teth Adam, our main character and I don't even know if I should call him a hero to be honest. I came for some The Rock humor but even the Rock couldn't save this movie due to awkward camera angles and not being able to pull off a black leotard and golden boots 🤦🏻‍♀️ The whole movie and story itself was essentially super "heroes" running around, incapable of just sitting down and having a decent conversation and constantly ending up in fights that simply put: destroyed the entire city of Khandaq, with the cherry on top of the cake being Black Adam just smashing through walls instead of using doors for no reason at all. Sabbac, the villain, couldn't have looked stupider in his "demon form". Throughout the movie I also kept getting the feeling that the writers didn't know how to choose between different scenarios and endings. The movie was furthermore filled with terrible dialogue and just lasted way too long. It was very superficial and lacked substance in my opinion. If you want to watch a good superhero movie, don't waste your time watching this one. All it is, is DC repeating an outlived formula: slap some people together that you will never see again afterwards, give them a cringe name and just pump in a lot of fighting scenes and hardly any character background.
