I've always ignored this series for varied reasons. I bought this game out of pure love for the time period and have not been able to put it down. The change in combat from AC previous titles to Odyssey is so much better. The ship is beautiful and fun, the first time I swam last a whale I was blown away, just makes you feel that much more free. Like other comments said, feels like an Assassins creed / elder scrolls mash up and It gave me a new found love and interest in the series.
