The book was great. However, the show was a joke. It was so “woke” that it took away from the storyline. It seems as though shows/movies coming out these days cannot just stick with the storyline. But, instead Hollywood feels it necessary to touch on what’s going on in the real world, which takes away from the shows/movies. It seemed as though there was a quota that had to of been met as far as touching on every single topic that’s being talked about in today’s world. People watch shows/movies to escape from whatever is going on around them. Now, Hollywood is shoving their agendas down peoples throats. Stick to the storyline!

The suggested rating for Bob’s Burgers is 13 years old and up. Really?!?!? The show has rude/suggestive material and language. During one of the shows, the characters discussed the parents having sex in the next room and what they sounded like, having a three-way at school, and telling another character, “they should kill them self.” This is not something I would want my 18 year old child watching, let alone a 13 year old. So, parents beware! Although, the show is funny it is, definitely, not for children.

The preview looked as though it would have been a cute movie. I thought it would be safe for my kids to watch. That wasn’t the case with this movie. In one scene, the main character gets high, so she has enough courage to do an activity that scares her. Horrible message for youngsters! Towards the end of the movie, there was another scene where the main character talks about explaining a “dik” pic (spelling is incorrect on purpose) to her boyfriend’s grandma, which was offensive and vulgar. The movie would have been great without the crude parts included. Now, my youngsters are not allowed to watch it and it will not become one of the Christmas movies our family enjoys every Christmas.

Don’t waste your time watching this one; you will be totally disappointed. It’s definitely not the same show it was years ago. Hollywood definitely jumped on the “woke” bandwagon for this one. It’s seemed like this show had a “woke” quota to hit for as many times as it touched on what’s going on in the real world. People watch shows to escape the real world, not to be reminded of it. Plus, Big aka John, dies, so the show is depressing to watch Carrier try to get through her heart break. I couldn’t get past the second show because the energy of the show was dark and sad.

The people narrating the show are entirely inappropriate and rude. I thought this was supposed to be a G rated show. But, instead the narrators constantly talk about sex, scrotums, make inappropriate jokes, and other sexual innuendos, which is unnecessary and is not something I feel comfortable allowing my children to hear. It is extremely uncomfortable when my children ask about some of the things the narrators talk about. The show is interesting enough without inappropriate narrating. The show would be enjoyable if the narrators would clean up their mouths and speak intelligently and informatively.
