Was very disappointed in a recent Madame Secretary, perhaps the Jan. 20th show. In this show, Daisy's dog was ill and Matt offered to care for it at his apt.
But, his landlord did not allow dogs in the bldg, unless they were service dogs.
So Matt went out and bought a "service dog" jacket, even though this dog was definitely NOT a service dog. There has been much press and information published about the abuses of doing this.
There needs to be justified reasons for these service dogs to get to wear the required "jacket" and this was totally irresponsible for the network to use this ploy to pretend he was a service animal.
It diminishes the real need of people to have their dogs trained to provide service to those handicapped individuals.
People sometimes get negative messages from the press, TV, and radio, and this was an example that was both offensive and irresponsible. CBS should know better!
