Very well done for a musician bio film. Marisa Abel’s from Hbo s “Industry” nails it. Great cast with Leslie Manville and Jack O’Donnell
Really gets into Amy’s Emotions, Insecurities and Art.

What a brilliant movie told in a visual splendour like a fairytale. Emma Stone is in every scene in this 2 hour 21 minute film. Emma deserves all Her accolades for this role. A very daring performance. Including her nudity in sex scenes. Costumes and sets are Victorian steampunk. The dialogue is smart, witty and poetic.

For a film that has lack of color, action, or suspense, it is riviting. Because of the three actors. And the plot.
A must see and an end of year favorite

3 1/2 hours never seemed too long or tedious. Martin Scorsese has directed many years of incredible personal films ( Casino. Good fellows. Gangs of NY. Age of innocence. Last temptation of Christ and a few others) and perfected his Narrative and control of Cinema into this, his most brilliant film.
Lily Gladstone gives the best performance of the year. Di Niro and Di Caprio are also great. But sans their mugging

I didn’t know what to expect. I was on the edge throughout the entire movie. The two great young actresses, Hope Davis and Isabella Rossellini in small roles made me realize I was watching something more than a Typical Teen thriller movie. Great music selections and soundtrack. Dialogue very real. A must see

At times this film felt like an Italian movie from the past. Especially the 1970s scenes. Which were beautifully filmed. And very brave to show Gay cruising in the Cavernous movie house of the films title.
Pietros back and forth with his feelings became a bit tedious. And the movie began to get confusing.
When we progress into time, I was lost for a few minutes. But then things fell into place. And suddenly the film was a 1950s-1960s Hollywood failed romance (like “Back Street” )
It it was all cliche melodrama.
Nothing wrong with a mixed bag. Especially when it comes to gay romance.

Dark, Moody and Bloody. This neo noir thriller is riveting. Marshall Logan Green is brilliant. (Also Nude or in his skivvies during half the series). Great live and recorded music throughout. I watched 6 of all 8 episodes in one sitting.
