Oh dear! Why oh why is the urge felt to do remakes? Especially when it is a movie that is so liked by its fans. This version had an uphill battle from the word go and fails utterly. Either watch the original or don't bother. There was a time when I was a great fan of Nicholas Cage but I just feel sorry for the poor bloke.
