Overall, I find the book solid. The author's language could be more direct and sometimes, he skips over intermediate steps in an example that would provide more confirmation of understanding. However, too often the author puts too much emphasis on exercises, and not enough on informative examples. Additionally, when he asks "Why," it would be helpful to have a reference or a hint so that you could at least receive confirmation that your explanation or understanding of "Why" is correct. The book does have errors, and I did not find an errata. As an example, in edition 4, Section 6.6. Example 6.84, he list [T] with respect to see as being equal to [[1,1],[3,-2]], but it's actually [[4,0],[0,-1]], the diagonal, instead of the change of basis matrix P
