They did not do this classic fairy Disney tail any justice. In fact they ruined it with bad acting, a bad script, and bad directing. Personally coming to the end of the movie, the last 47 minuets and onwards is sort of dark, and wouldn’t let a child under the age of 9 watch this film. Also the audio is horrible you can hear the static due to poor quality equipment. You never know if the story is being told through the grandmas perspective the whole time, or if it’s from the little girls perspective. It’s not a musical yet I’ve heard one short song in this entire film from the ‘little Mermaid’ And the original is supposed to be a musical, but they have not done that in this film. Again acting is very bad by nearly every single character you see in this film. Don’t bother watching it. The scenes are poorly cut, and they change way to much to be able to get a good story line from it.
