A nostalgic take on Star Wars with some new locations and a great final duel. Worth it for fans.

Pacing was off, Taika Watiti had too much free reign (normally he is hilarious but the whole movie was slapstick) - and the solid villain was undersold in terms of capabilities and screentime. Thor has gone from being a bumbling lovable character to a literal parody. Disappointing after the character growth and amazing work done in Thor Ragnarok.

The combat in this game is repetitive and boring. It's not very much fun and lightsabers can't kill a rat. The boss fights are extremely boring and tedious, and the 'skill tree' only marginally improves on the basics such that you are playing the same combat style the entire game. Enemies level as you advance so you barely feel more powerful.

Honestly this film is convoluted, and leaps to conclusions that made the previous two films utterly redundant. There was no real attempt to progress the Star wars story or universe (aside from new toys) and way too much was happening in too many areas to make the film actually interesting. A maguffin was utterly pointless and a waste of time and lives as per the previous film. There was also a distinct lack of interesting space opera (instead you get space horses). Last but not least the Force is now space wizardry and can do whatever it wants whenever it wants.
