Oddly enough I watched this series last (Yellowstone 1st and 1883 2nd)and I'm kind of glad I did because it didn't make any sense through half of it,was slow and wandering without any real plot,and most of the characters were confusing and dry. Ford and Mirren were literally the only reason I bothered finishing the 1st season. I don't know if I will be commit to watching the 2nd season yet,but maybe it will get better. Yellowstone and 1883 were riveting,captivating, and amazing from the first episode......but 1923 just didn't do anything for me.

I can't believe how bad it was!! CGI in the fights sped up stunts to the point where it was like Super Mario Brothers. Speaking of video games, it looked more like a video game with really great graphics....too bad the action wasn't the only thing they screwed up! A 50/50 split between bad acting and over acting not to mention nary a plot!

My opinion of this movie might be a bit skewed because musicals are not my thing for the most part, and for some reason I wasn't aware that this was a musical....... That being said this movie was produced with an outwardly & overly dramatic excess of pity with a very dark story that feels 'pushed' well beyond necessity, it was a truly awkward and uncomfortable experience that I just kept hoping would settle in to rhythm of some kind,...I did see a few patrons leave and I considered it but I didn't know if my girlfriend was enjoying it or not and I think I was in a mild form of shock most of the time, She did say she enjoyed it more than me after the fact but had kind of the same opinions of most of it.
