This is almost a sandbox DnD game with its character flexibility. Thief acrobat, bard diplomat, undead wizard, shape changing druid - the game has it all. Game has expansions into Lolth;s Underdark, Strahd's Ravenloft, Sharn - world of Tech, and low tech Forgotten Realms. I have played for years and continue to play regularly. To get the most out of the game join as a VIP for bonus gifts, boosts, and full access to the base game (expansions cost extra). Each new release is better than the last. There is a tutorial to learn the basics and after that what you do and where you go is up to you. Guilds provide more boosts and teammates. Involved game - easy to learn - hard to master. Robust forums but be sure data is current. I will say excessively complex crafting systems. If new players have issue with download, do a search on it - there are fixes to make your windows or mac work with this engine created in 2006. Highest recommendations.
