Decent game, could see it being fun if I could play online with my friends. Had I known that purchasing the standard edition makes it so I can’t play against my ps4 friends I would’ve never bought it. Stuck with it now. Only way to play with previous gen would be to buy ultimate edition for $120 cad. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from ea. Every other game developer gives a ps4 version of the game for free with ps5 purchase. Not madden. Good work guys. Haven’t bought a madden game for 10 years and will never buy another one from here on out. Edit: decided to try the game out since I paid for it and can’t return it. Franchise player mode consistently crashes and sets player from wr or hb in to a qb. Only way to fix this is to reset the season and start from the beginning. Been happening since launch from what I’ve read from others dealing with same issue. Have yet to get further than 4 games into a season without having to restart due to skill tree resetting my WR to QB, this also makes your player overall go back to 70. Garbage game, garbage devs, save your money.

The guns all have the same feeling and are extremely unbalanced at the same time. Zero skill involved. There’s no such thing as turning on an enemy whoever gets seen first dies first. Evading bullets is impossible as they seem to be able to pass through any and every structure. Movement is okay. Footsteps make no sound at all, neither do bullets as the enemy is firing at you. I’m genuinely upset that I spent 95 dollars on this. If I could get a full refund I 100% would. I played over 10 hours of multiplayer and had a little fun at the beginning but as I played more I discovered that the enemies blend in with their background and you can die in 1-2 bullets. Yet other guns take 4-6. The campaign is good but extremely short. I still prefer mw 2019 to this game. I’ve played lots of call of duty over the course of my life, maybe too much and the last two releases have been upsetting to say the least.
