extremely and uselessly gory; think of the rating "R", now think of something three times beyond the r rating and you have midsommar. Do watch it if you want to vomit or barf. wish I'd bothered to check the reviews before going in. I really liked Dani's character though. the film explores suffering and grief in an unusual way. i just think something like this should never be made. :( im going to have a huge problem clearing the horrible scenes out of my head. otherwise, it was a decent story. sad it could have made a good thriller.
