IDK yet. I need to rewatch it sometime soon. There's an amusing backstory added to this in my personal experience. My meds had recently been changed to a more controlled drug and had an effect that had me paranoid. However upon watching this it was almost interactive at all the funny points. That was my first watching of this. I seeked out the movie again after insisting I was switched back to my former meds and found it actually has more of a plot than I originally realized, but I didn't have the time to watch all of the movie. But what I seen was solid enough to make me want to seek it out again.

The only notable negative is that it drags on a bit at a good 2 hours. Special effects may not have been as good then as today, but 80's films like Back to the Future, Batman and a host of others show what we were capable of even then. The film has legit special effects, it's how they make use of them that leaves something to be desired. The voice cast is subpar in terms of near the end & the big battle. The story is sound in that it's simple & easy to follow yet very intriguing. Obviously an adventure film geared at those with vivid imaginations this has enough to keep it's target audience entertained. You'll just likely wish it was better. Probably say 3.5 out of 5 stars.

While regarded as a JRPG and technically has that in terms of categorizing it, it is of note that much of the combat, like previous Persona games (have played 3 & 4, but not the first 2) is really more along the lines of a dungeon crawler. It shakes off the negative, confining & often restricting feeling that comes with dungeon crawlers by keeping the halls or "dungeons" broad and give a fair amount of room to maneuver. If an enemy is in your path odds are you can get around it if you so choose as there's usually enough room to effectively dodge the encounter. I don't know much in detail being in the very, very early parts of the game, but it's everything I've come to expect and more based on having played Persona 3 FES and the Vita iteration Persona 4 Golden. While a PS3 version exists it really is in extremely limited quantities (seriously, you almost had to preorder it) and so as good as this is it's actually a standalone reason for buying a PS4. Between this & Kingdom Hearts 3 you legitimately have more than enough justification for owning a PS4, to say nothing of multiplatform games (a nod to GTA 5 here). Still, attainable currently for a mere $20 new this is arguably the go to for RPG/JRPG titles to start your PS4 collection with.

The devil is really in the details in this one, much more so than most would think. I'll skip ahead a bit and say I love this movie as a whole. But it's best to examine the core first. Which is a small time lawyer with an absolute A+ winning record gets offered and accepts an offer for the big leagues in the world of lawyers. It's obvious the clients he's being brought are guilty, but his job is to garner a not guilty verdict, which he does every time without fail. All the while he has an on and off sorta relationship with his wife going. He loves her, but the on and off comes from being torn between her and work. His devout Christian mother senses what's going on all along and makes no secret of it. She predictably knows much more than she lets onto. Towards the end his wife realizes he's in fact working for the devil and commits suicide. After which he seeks out his mom and demands answers which he knows she has. Then the climax begins, which is the ending. He meets his boss and confronts him that he's onto him. Ahh, here's where it truly gets good. Al Pacino portrays the devil brilliantly, but also in an appealing manner. He knows he's doomed! So why not embrace it?! Why not indulge in it?! Already condemned to a life in hell how can it get any worse?! Literally have the absolute worst possible outcome 100% guaranteed to happen!!! So let's embrace it all and enjoy it. Besides, as the movie so points out, naturally their fate is eternal damnation, look who wrote it! This is the movies message. Get how there's much more to this than the surface? Here we have an absolutely brilliant movie with an all star cast brilliantly acted and all to show the glamour & glitz that is Satan, or so this movie means to make him appear. Way to go Hollywood, you've effectively glamourized the devil and made his ways appear very appealing. The devil is a master of deception, but here we have this aided by Hollywood's script. Perhaps some truth to it, but it's Hollywood's script that makes it appear appealing. It's one thing to make an entertaining movie about the devil, it's quite another to make him out to be the male equivalent of a Hollywood showgirl as a lawyer.
