Because I am deaf, I watch GMA for the good captions and the scroll at bottom of screen. I record the broadcast, then go back and read the scroll for more news.

Entertainment to the highest. "Real Hollywood" type of movie. Great dancing, great costumes. Ridiculously amusing plot. Shows off Shirley MacLaine's legs, beauty, and talent. A happy, feel-good movie!.

Sad. Marriage ruined through neglecting wife while traveling to achieve success.

Depressing. Sorry I now have it in my memories.

I would not have recognized James Stewart if he were not listed. The movie was from 1941, before December 7, 1941 and Pearl Harbor and then the War. He surely looked different after the War. I believe he became a General in the War. I couldn't help thinking about that, and the fact that the beautiful Hedy Lamar did undercover work during the War and also made some scientific inventions that helped win the War. I think it is strange that as the movie came on, Stewart's name was the top one listed before the three girls. His part was rather small compared to the girls and other men in the movie. I loved the movie! They just don't make 'em like that anymore.

Great seeing them all old and together again. The plot made it seem like they all really were the real life characters they were playing. It is a miracle that they were all willing to come back together in spite of having their own separate careers for years. Can't help wondering how much each was paid to do that.

I find the story captivating, and plausible, entertaining as fiction, and am curious whether the scar across lips of the actress and/or the crown princess and her bleeding nose have any connection to reality or significance to the story?

Not my kind of movie, but watched because rare nowadays to see Jack Palance, whose character's actions and decisions made little sense in this film. Not a fan of Shelly Winters, whom I had met personally many years ago and found her to be potty-mouthed in public.

Entertaining, different, a little difficult to follow so many characters. Overall enjoyable.
