I could watch Gadot all day, but she is given a woeful story to work with. The movie is more interested in a 84 fashion then finding a strain of character development or good dialogue. Did I miss the deep point of the opening scene, ...Diana needs to wait for greatness, rushing is not the path to take, cheats don’t prosper?...blah,blah,blah. Wiig’s character starts off with possibility, but turns into a b grade baddie, as cartoonish as the main villain. A shallow conman wanting to claim the world by stealing an artifact’s hidden power. Original...er no. By half way through I put it down to another COVID release, just a ‘straight to video, movie that exists in a cinema due to no completion on the big screen. It’s topped off with a lame cameo, that even Stan Lee would of cringed at.
