There were so many ways this film could have satisfied a sci-fi fan... yet they missed all of them. And I was stuck for two hours watching a self indulgent man think his plot line was interesting enough to carry a sci fi movie. I think George Clooney is an amazing humanitarian, he does so much for people in need. But please George, stick to that and being the charming lead.
