One of the first movies about what we now call, "A.I" or Artificial Intelligence, and particularly what computer scientists in AI call the Singularity-- the moment when computer intelligence outruns human intelligence. For its time it is an intriguing warning.

I liked NHK Newsline, but sadly it has been replaced by another show called "NHK In Depth" -- which is anything BUT in depth and is more of a "fluffy news" program focusing on the Arts, and similar things. While it is interesting, there is no real news in it, when we the viewers would prefer some Real News that focuses on the Pacific Rim, of which California is very much a part. The political situation is now too critical, to ignore what is going on in Asia. Please bring back NHK Newsline.
