Shane – Google

A terrible movie with a pathetic ending. Unfortunately Google doesn't gives the option of zero stars. First of all the casting was totally wrong. The role of Baankey ( Ayushmann ) should have been given to Nawazuddin Siddiqui. He would've easily nailed the role. Because he has the look of a 'Poor guy living in a house among the ruins' Amitabh Bachchan's character's nose looked totally fake. A little bit of touch-up would've easily matched his skintone. Second : the Genre No way is this a comedy movie. Instead of laughing, i felt pity on the surroundings and living conditions of the characters. Since the whole movie was sad, I expected at least a Happy Ending. A person goes to the Cinema Theatre (or subscribes to a Web Series ) to get entertained and not to get bored for hours. Third : THE MAIN QUESTION(S) Why does Shoojit Sircar make pathetic films like this ? And Why does a great actor like Amitabh Bachchan does these types of roles for a flop director ? Being a Bengali myself i feel ashamed that this person is being a black spot in the Bengali community of bollywood. Because this guy makes as rubbish movies as his name is pathetically spells ( am i right Mr Shujit Sarkar ? )

Rating : 4/5 Great movie if you are a SanjuBaba (Munna Bhai ) fan. It shows that even rich and famous personalities have a dark past. The only thing that the movie didn't show is about his VIP treatment in the prison. Another bad thing was product placement 1) kelzai volcanic water : coincidentally i drank that overpriced water for INR 60/- for 500 ml in the mall food court ( lake mall, Kolkata ) and there was nothing special about that water. 2) Air India : India's Shame. The worst airline. In conclusion the movie is worth watching.

I can honestly say that it's one of the best movies I've seen after a long time. Sahabzaade Irfan Khan's acting has proved that there's no one better than him. Another thing i liked is the plot : even after a lot of plot twists, Irfan Khan gains Victory in the end. And the funniest part in the movie is when he strips to a boxer and wears a tote bag on his head to disguise himself. I watched it . I liked it. Hope that you'll like it too.
