I'm not a godzilla fan (90's kid), and I went to see this movie because I was in a mood for a general blockbuster summer flick. It was an ok film in general, with the monster fights of course being the highlight, but every time the humans took the screen, I was bored to tears. The dialogue was clingy, and I found the interactions between them pretty dumb and pointless. People who love this movie will argue, 'But who cares about the humans right? People came to see monsters fight.' But when you have thirty percent or more of the movie follow the people, the characters need to be a little bit better.
