I do not have the smartest of brains and sometimes have to watch a film several times before it sinks in but Mary Queen of Scots was a huge disappointment to me. I thought it was just me in my ignorance and so read other reviews to see what others were saying. Guess I'm not quite as dumb as I thought. Many inaccuracies and questionable scenarios, I won't go through them all again. Hugely disappointed although costumes and scenery were pleasing and of course David Tennant can't put a foot wrong as far as I'm concerned, just a shame his part wasn't bigger.
