Given time and situation I take my chance to whoop up with our regional (Assamese) movies at the theatre. This sunday was one of it, to call to Boomba Ride. The story of Boomba is the story of many children and villages not only in Assam but India in totality. The developmental schemes, plans, action plans while traveling from the national and state capitals to the villages vapourises enroute. And none has to be blamed for that cause it's the vastness of our geography, people, class differences, livelihood and the struggle for life which makes each and every person and place unique, which is why the Father of the Nation had said "development of village is the true development of India". And this development has to be in all forms from schools, roads, transportation, infrastructure, health facilities, markets, social justice to development of human resources. Boomba's story involves the development of such human resource. Bravo! to the script writer and director of Boom Ride, Biswajeet Bora and the entire cast and crew for churning out such a moving and evident tale of rural Assam. To cut it short, Boomba Ride is an excellent movie to be watched with friends, family, children.
