If there is a movie in recent times that is plotted on a 60 years old story line and still managed to deliver the experience without missing the essence of even 1%, then it must be none other than ASURAN. Vengeance, Love, Responsibility, Sacrifice, Reality, Social Inequality, everything is wrapped into one in the form of a movie. It's true victory for the director (Vetri Maran) and the protagonist (Dhanush). If you haven't watched this movie, then you are definitely missing something in your lifetime.
