I am left unsure how to feel about this film. Starting with negatives: a number of times something was said or shown that wound up completely irrelevant to the rest of the film and even some of the fleshed out arcs did not have a conclusion, not to mention one story line having a very very strange ending, that although not from nowhere, was very unexpected. Some of the forth wall breaks felt forced or clumsy. Finally although not a true negative for some, the violence in some scenes seemed (to my tastes) very gratuitous, lingering on for too long. For positives: the film's message was very clear and there were a number of times it had me laughing, a lot. The acting was very good and the story was relatively compelling however in some cases parts left me asking more questions than it answered. All I can do is recommend giving it a try, it is by no means the worst thing I've ever seen, but I also couldn't call it the best. A warning to the squeamish or faint of heart, the violence was a little more than I had expected from the trailers.
