The meaning, time, and effort put into this album is more than astounding. I am a young lover of Tool being only 19, but I have been raised on them, A Perfect Circle, and Puscifer. Maynard's ability to have a different sound, attitude, and voice for each band is mind blowing. The meaning behind his words is gorgeous. Especially the song 10,000 days. That song is all about his mother and the 10,000 days/27 years she spent completely paralyzed from the neck down due to a stroke. Throughout that entire time she was a very religious and spiritual women. Maynard wrote that song for her because she was finally going home after her 10,000 day struggle. This is far from "no effort". He put in all his love and effort.
