I'm 92 and have been listening to it for years - aural clever comedy at it's best

Ludicrous plot and very poor dialogue. At 89, I don't think my hearing is that bad but I use subtitles as my default setting (watch a lot of foreign programmes) and only turn off if sound quality is good enough. Could not get subtitles for 4th ep of Finding Alice (ditto the previous day for Marcella) both on the ITV hub. By comparison, after giving up on Finding Alice, I watched (without picture ie radio recording) of "Conversations on a Long Marriage" with Roger Allam & Joanna Lumley and dialogue was perfect.
