I’ve never provided a movie review due to feeling inadequately trained/insightful enough to have a valid critique. Monster Hunter has made me a film critic. It is an abomination. I cannot, for the life of me, comprehend how this movie was released as is. It is a seizure in a can, void of any engaging storyline. “Plot elements” are just stated explicitly by characters, and friggin’ rammed in there like they’re short on time. Milla Jovovich is a proven actor. No question there. Ron Perlman is one of my favourites of all time. I’m flabbergasted that either actor agreed to this film, and there’s NO WAY they are comfortable with the final product. Woof.
