Ignore the negative reviews, this movie rocks!!! If you are after a great bit of escapism and blockbuster entertainment this is the film for you. Sit back and enjoy the ride, great performances all round and terrific special effects makes this one of the best modern disaster epics of recent years, highly recommended.

First of all John Carpenter's Halloween 1978 is my all time favourite horror movie, a true classic! I have enjoyed some others too including the 2nd, 4th and the 2018 reboot and also Halloween kills but Halloween ends completely fell apart! It did not follow on from the last film and why is Michael Myers living in a sewer like some old hobo? He should be super powerful after all the slaughter in Halloween kills and why 4 years later? The introduction of Corey was also a mistake, weak acting and the shape was limited to a small amount of screen time...big mistake! Also the myth and supernatural menace of Michael Myers was just discarded which in my opinion spoilt the legacy of the character and the classic original movie. A damn shame!

Ignore the harsh reviews, I personally enjoyed this modern remake of the classic 1961 ghost story the innocents, in fact I found it much darker and creepier than the recent Netflix series the haunting of bly manor. Great performances and unsettling atmosphere together with great camera work and scenic locations make this a must see.

This movie is an absolute blast! A proper big budget summer B movie that really delivers the goods and then some! I enjoyed every minute and just when you think the spectacle cannot get any better...wait for the grand finale! Totally blew me away! A must see 5 stars

The boys are back with a real bang! Sounding as fresh and exciting as ever with there wonderful new album...Nonetheless including some real standout tracks such as Why am i dancing? Loneliness, Love is the law and a new bohemia to name but a few, Neil's voice is as crisp and clear as it has always been and Chris as magical as ever with the synth keyboards, with lush strings and horns included and great backing vocals and high production values this is a must have in your collection.

This a wonderful bit of escapism, 2 different worlds collide in a wonderful action fantasy. Great characters, scenery and a decent and gripping storyline. With a fast pace that never lets up, plenty of action and thrills and a great creature design. A highly recommended movie!

The exorcist will always be a milestone in horror cinema, but i was very impressed with this new movie, great cast and performances, some truly chilling moments and faithful nods to the original. Do not listen to the negative reviews and go along and decide for yourself but personally i would say this is one of the best horror films of 2023.
